A power struggle between different faiths takes a turn for the worse.
In an effort to protect the Canyonlands National Park and save Hopi native lands, Nora Abbott enlists her college friend Lisa Taylor to create a documentary film that will encourage Congress to expand the park's boundaries. But when Nora hears that Lisa died in a hiking accident while working on the film, she doesn't believe it was an accident at all.
Nora soon discovers that Lisa stumbled onto something while filming, something that put her in the middle of a dangerous power struggle. When Nora is pulled into the crosshairs herself, she realizes she is dealing with a power-hungry killer who is intent on taking over a multimillion-dollar company. And for Nora, the bad news is just beginning.
