Sabbie Dare must confront the evils of her own past.
Shamanic counselor Sabbie Dare is out for a night of fun at the Bridgewater Carnival when she receives a disturbing palm reading from a young gypsy. The next day, Sabbie learns that a police detective was shot at the carnival and the gypsy has gone missing. Heeding pleas from the girl's sister, Sabbie dives into the gypsy's sad life, despite warning from Detective Sergeant Rey Buckley.
Meanwhile, Sabbie's own neighbor - a scared woman with an angry husband and a mysterious past - also goes missing. Can Sabbie make enough sense of her shamanic journeys to help either woman before it's too late?
